Gday y'all!!! so I just had this awesome LP copy which i got from a friend, sounds really good as it looks and its the main reason why i got it. When i try looking online about the brand its shows me no info about it. The MIK sticker at the back looks like one of those stickers on a samick LP copy. so I just wanted to confirm that and also know if there are any info about this guitar. Just an FYI this guitar for me is a keeper no plans of selling it or knowing its value just wanted to know more info about it. TIA
What's on your mind?

Hi....
I'm looking for information on this Samick Artist Series model but I can't find anything:
https://i.ibb.co/g5vkcKN/SAMICK-Artist-2.jpg
https://i.ibb.co/4RPPzWyQ/SAMICK-Artist-4.jpg
The serial number is: S60190443 ... so I think it's from January 96 according to the SYMMPPPP format.
Made in Korea.
The body shape is like the Ibanez Ghostrider GR.
Does anyone know what model it is? or any info?
Just Updated

I just picked up a Samick Flying V in pretty good condition today, but the rear cavity cover is missing along with two of the tuner backs. Anyone know if these parts are available or will I have to resort to home made bits!!!

Hi.
I saw that there's a discussion about Samick Guitar topic, and i wonder if someone can help me with this.
I have a Samick Guitar that i bought many years ago. Unfortunately, the bridge has a crack has you can see in the pictures.
I've tried to make some research to find out if there any chance to get a bridge for this exact Samick model, and you know what? I just can't find this model. Not even someone that may have bought the same model and give any advice. 🙂
The model is LSM - 80 T/OS
I'm not a professional guitar player, but I really like the way this bridge was made, because when i play it just slides very well.
Can someone guide me on this?
Thanks.
I would like some informations on the Samick classical guitar GK 7 by S. Yairi.
Thank you Ygrec
I found this Vantage at a pawn shop a few years back and I can't seem to get any identification on it, either model name or year of manufacture. I emailed Johan at Vantage Guitars and even sent a message to Samick directly and... nothing.
Little help? Thanks!
I appreciate the help. :)
Hi all.
Can you guys help me identify the model of the Samick guitar in the following link?
Any information on this would be much appreciated. Thanks.
Hello all, found this community while looking for info on this guitar I picked up. Branded "Como", it looks a heck of a lot like the Hondo HFS and H760 series and is labeled as made in Korea. Has some heft to it, plays and sounds quite nice, 3 way toggle and hard tail bridge like the Hondos. One volume knob two tones. The single coils have a warm, thick tone for lack of a better description. Does anyone know any info on these, and how I can narrow down the model? Thanks!
The rear sticker says EG5000S, searching that number gave few results but brought me to what looked like a Hondo HES but made in Japan, with the three sliding switches. Interestingly the new Harley Benton strats seem to sport the same EG5000 code too and I was under the impression those were made by Samick(?). Thanks!
Hey everyone, hope you may help me identify a Samick guitar model that I cannot find anywhere online. It has a Telecaster-ish double cut body, sunburst colour, with a black P-90 style pickup on the neck position and a black humbucker inn a chrome telecaster style bridge, with 6 saddles. Headstock is rounded shape with 6 inline, sunburst colour as the body and it has the Samick Artist series established 1958 white logo. Serial is engraved on the neck plate and it says it's from 1997. Neck has rosewood fretboard with irregular flat oval shape inlays. It is not mine (yet!) so I would prefer to not post pictures of other people's guitars. Thanks in advance whoever may help me!
I'm curious about my old guitar. It was recently returned to me after 25 years. It used to be a metallic purple. I think its SS50ish. Though I cant seem to find this headstock logo in any photos online. I got it in the 1990-92 time frame. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
a friend offered me this guitar, apparently it has a floyd rose, 2 humbuckers and one singlecoil (correct me if im wrong, im new to this guitar world) someone knows what model exactly is this? and, it is a good guitar for a beginner? https://imgur.com/a/EbkyyVs
Any of you guys know what this model is?
Hi u all!
I´m an amateur from Finland trying to get back with playing after few decades.
I just made a online purchase of a Samick 41D (man, was it a task to find the right model name and year). Haven´t seen it yet and started to find some info on the neck style and measurements but found nothing.
I have a pair of guitars and they both have rather slim necks and that´s what I like (42mm nut, modern c neck profile). I was wondering whether this Samick is similar or maybe bulkier. Can you give me some info?
PS.
Got it today, cleaned it up, changed the strings and adjusted the neck. Still need to adjust the action (a tad high) and adjust the intonation.
Looks and feels pretty much ok for a cheapo.
Does anyone know what bass this is? It's a shortscale made in Indonesia but no series or modelname/number.
Can anyone help me with the model and plant for this bass?
Someone de-labeled it! Any ideas? Seymour Duncan performer pickup. The blue may not be original?
Hi, there! Pretty hard to find any info about my guitar all over the web. Even in here, where there is simply no entry about my model. Anyone to tell me about the specs of my LJ-15 A LH TBK, please?
Well, thank you!
I believe it's called Tricktone Circuitry used in the HONDO and maybe Samick guitars.
Basically, Humbucker, 1 singles, 3 individual mini-toggle on/off switches, a volume, tone, tone roll-off and a mini-toggle splitter for the humbucker.
Bought a Hondo FAME series that was dismantled 10yrs ago and looked good, case, etc... got home and started finding issues. Part of which is that they pulled the leads off the pickups and a section of the harness (vol and split) were missing.
I drew what I could from what I have, and someone in a forum tried to help figure it out but not confident in how they have the split working, looks like it would just be both coils all the time.
Anyways... anyone know much about this wiring?
Here's what the forum came up with. Again, I think maybe the black humbucker lead should go to the switch then the pot...
